My project

This is my project
OLYMPIC PBL REFLECTION
Project Topic: BadMinton

Photo/Screenshot of Project (insert below)

`

Finish these starters:
  • Something I enjoyed about my project was when I had to draw the badminton racket and shuttlecock because it was so fun.

  • The most challenging thing about my project was when I had to find all the facts because I forgot to write all the facts down

  • Something interesting I learnt was the fact where it said the best shuttlecocks are made from the left wing of a goose

  • What I would most like to change about my project is how messy it is             because It is untidy

  • I would like to do my next PBL about Movies

Choose three learning muscles and explain how you used them during your PBL.

  1. I used my absorption because I was absorbed in my learning.
  2. I used my managing distractions when my friends tried to talk to me
  3. I used my perseverance in my poster when I had to draw the badminton racket and shuttle cock

Create a Description of Your Project
This needs to have either video or audio. You can use any app you like. Include a link here. You will embed it as part of your Reflection PBL Blog Post.

How to play badminton

This is how  to play badminton
I am blogging this because it was the last thing that I had to do before fun day.
 How to play badminton

Things you need
  • Net
  • Court
  • Shuttle cock
  • Badminton racket
  • Someone to play with

How to play
1. Get the net on the court set up .You can have either two or four players on a badminton court.
2.Get racket and make sure both of you get one .One player on each side, or a team of two players on each side.
3.Get someone to throw the shuttle cot into the air and it will start.
3.Here are some moves you can do smash, slice, touch, backhands.
4.You have to hit the shuttle cock with the racket over the net to try to win.
5.Every time you get a point, the game restarts.
6.You can run from side to side when you are in singles to hit the shuttle cock.

How to get a point
You need to get the shuttle cock over the net and make sure the other person does not get it to get a point.

Rules of badminton
Get 2 sets.
Score 21 next one to get 2 more will win.
Cannot hit twice .
Cannot hit once out.

Something's about badminton
1.One-against-one is called singles; two-against-two is called doubles.
2. In doubles, either player can hit the shuttle; you do not have to take it in turns.
3.The scoring system in badminton is quite simple, but it can get confusing in double.
4.In a major tournament, a coin toss is used to decide which side will serve first.
5.Every time you win a rally, you get a point. Starting from zero, the first person to reach 21 points wins the game. In club badminton, this is usually where you stop and choose players for the next game.

The holidays

Hi guys today I am doing a holiday blog post about the Movies and my 3 day holiday at the holiday house.

The movies

On the first day we went to the movies with my Auntie Karen my 2 cousins Ruby and Hannah. We were going to see Finding Dory. It is the coolest movie ever, well I think so.

We go in to the movies and wait in the line and by the time we are in the front of the line, they just come in so they wait in line too.
Then we all go up to see the movie. My favorite part was when Bailey used his echo-location "ooohhhhhhh" like that and then he ducks under the water and said "I feel stupid." It is so funny and the movie is sad but baby Dory is so cute.

My mum told me that we are going to the snow with my grandma Grandy so on Tuesday we left for the snow. We drove for 3 hours in the car. When we got there, we found out we were not allowed  at the house for one more hour so we went for a walk around the town. We went to the cafe. Me and my sister all got a hot chocolate with marshmallows and my mum and grandma got a coffee. We drank most of it and then we went to the play ground and had a play. Then it was time to go to the holiday house. We went there and me and Pippa ran to the door and went in and went up stairs. It was different to what I thought. Me, Pippa and Renae were going to sleep up stairs. Mum and Katie slept down stairs and so did Grandy.

On the first day we did not go to the snow so we just went to sleep. The next day we went up to the snow but the road was closed so we went to the Army Museum and we saw so many things. Then we went back to the house and talked. My sisters play hide and seek, run from Renae and monsters under the stairs. It was so fun!

Katie and Renae had to go to bed so me and Pippa watched TV. Then it was time for us to go to bed. The next morning was the last day and we had to go home. We packed all of our stuff and then hopped in to the car and left to go home.
So in the end we never got to see the snow.
